Morgan Popma

A current resident of Northern Virginia, I was born and raised in Los Angeles and will always and forever consider myself a California girl. I am mom to a five-year old daughter and currently a high school Librarian (having been a an English teacher in middle and high for years). I trend toward “crunchy” or “granola” mom tendencies these days, but I still drop the f-bomb with alarming frequency and let my kid eat fast food sometimes.

I started this site / blog / newsletter to give myself a space to practice my writing skills and overshare my life, because it often seems a whole lot of lonely out there and I like to laugh. If I can make you laugh with me… EVEN BETTER.

Where do I want all this to go? Absolutely no idea, yet. Yes, business people. I know that not having a business plan, or even a concept, is a terrible idea. But, if y’all know one single thing about me… it’s that I believe rules exist for a reason and if it is a rule that doesn’t hurt anyone… I’m probably going to break it.
